An online workshop on mark World Intellectual Property Day
An online workshop was organized on 21st April 2025 to mark World Intellectual Property Day. The session, conducted under the National Intellectual Property Awareness Mission (NIPAM) 2.0, focused on the topic “Patent Drafting and Filing in India.”
The keynote speaker was Dr. Bharat N. Suryawanshi, NIPAM Officer and Assistant Controller of Patents and Designs, Patent Office, New Delhi. He provided valuable insights into the patent process and the importance of protecting intellectual creations.
Dr. Shobha Srivastava, Dean, Faculty of Science, addressed the significance of the day. Dr. Pinky Prasad head department of Botany welcomed the resourse person. The session was moderated by Dr. Urvashi Sinha, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Piyush Kumar Rai. Over 600 participants attended the session.
The event was coordinated by Dr. Piyush Kumar Rai, Dr. Ravi Kumar, Dr. Urvashi Sinha and Mr. Gautam Saurabh, Coordinator of the Commerce and Management Club, Department of Commerce.
