Anti-Ragging Week
The Department of Psychology conducted several events on Anti-ragging week from 12.08.2024- 18.08.2024. The screening of documentary movie was held on 12.08.2024 for UG semester I and PG semester I. The students discussed about awareness of ragging among youth and also the role of every individual in making a peaceful society. They were curious about anti-ragging week and awareness programs.
The second day was for filling the forms of Anti-Ragging Affidavit, on 13.08.2024. Students of UG I and PG I filled it online in the classroom and submitted printouts of the filled forms the next day.
On 16.08.2024, the Poster Making Competition was held for UG I and Slogan Writing Competition was organised by PG I. Students of UG I made seven groups for Poster Making Competition and PG I made five groups for Slogan Writing Competition. They showed their creativity in their own way to show their sentiments regarding ragging. Judgment was done by Dr. Meena Kishore, Former Head, Department of Psychology and Dr. Vinita Kochgaway, Faculty Member of Stress Management, Department of Psychology, Patna Women’s College, Autonomous.
In UG I for Poster Making Competition, there was a tie among four groups for 1st position. Group 1 (Tanu shree and group), Group 2 (Sakshi and group), Group 5 (Priya and group) and Group 7 (Shrishti) secured 1st position. Group 3 (Sister Senso and group) was at the 2nd position and group 4 (Vandana Kumari and Group) & 6 (Mihika and group) were at 3rd position.
In PG I for Slogan Writing Competition, 1st position was secured by Group 3 (Riya and group), 2nd Position was saved by Group 5 (Kalyani and group) and Group 1 (Kumari Khushboo and group) was on 3rd Position.
