Department of Physics celebrated Anti Ragging week from 12th -16th August, 2024.

On 12th August, the documentary was shown to the students.
An anti-ragging session was conducted by the Department of Physics in the computer lab on 12th August 2024 at 9:15 AM to raise awareness about the harmful effects of ragging and to promote a safe and inclusive environment on campus. The session focused on educating students about the legal consequences of ragging, the psychological impact on victims, and the importance of fostering mutual respect among peers.

Videos were shown to share real-life stories and provided guidance on how to handle and report incidents of ragging. Students were encouraged to stand against any form of harassment and to support each other in creating a welcoming community.

On 13th August, Anti ragging affidavit was filled by the students.
On August 16th, 2024 Department of Physics, Pa Women’s College, Autonomous, Patna University organized Poster Making Competition on the theme “Anti ragging” to spread the awareness about anti ragging among students . During this event the students of semester 1 from both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes participated in the competition. There were total 7 groups from UG and 4 groups from PG . Total 33 participants were there. Best 3 posters were selected as winners.

The judges for the event were Ms. Moon, Head, Department of Statistics and Dr. Riekshika Sanwari, Asst. Prof. , Department of Physics, Patna Women’s College.
