The Department of Economics, Patna Women’s College (Autonomous) Patna University, organized an Alumni Meet to reconnect with the alumni community on October 17, 2024. The program began with a prayer dance presented by Shambhavi Kirti and a welcome song by the students of semester I and III. The alumni were then officially welcomed by Dr. Zareen Fatima, Head, Department of Economics. She emphasized that the alumni can play a crucial role in mentoring the students and inspiring them. The alumni participated in an interactive and fun game “Pop the Balloon” which was enjoyed and cheered by everyone present. The show continued with some retro Bollywood songs presented by the students. The alumni members shared their experiences and memories. Some nostalgic poems based on college life rounded up the event leaving everyone happy and positive. The program was successfully moderated by students Divya Anand, Lumah Ali and Anjali Raj. Faculty members Ms. Kamaljeet Kaur, Dr. Swastika Satyam and Ms. Priti Kumari coordinated the event.
