On the occasion of Republic Day, the Department of Data Science and Analytics successfully organized an Essay writing competition, on the topic “The Role of Heritage in India’s Development”, focusing on the theme of Republic Day 2025,
“Golden India: Heritage and Development”.

The event witnessed an enthusiastic response, with 89 participants registering from all the different departments of the College, to showcase their writing skills and perspectives on India’s rich cultural heritage and its influence on our nation’s progress.

The competition provided a platform for students to explore and discuss the significance of preserving and promoting India’s heritage while linking it to sustainable development and national pride. Participants expressed their enriching experience, learning new aspects about their own country and developing a deeper understanding of its cultural legacy. The overwhelmingly positive feedback from participants highlighted the impact of this initiative in fostering both intellectual growth and patriotic pride.

The Department of Data Science and Analytics takes pride in organizing such initiatives that encourage meaningful engagement and a deeper appreciation for India’s historical and cultural legacy.

The Essays were judged by Dr. Tauseef Hassan, HoD, Department of CEMS and
Dr. Deepa Srivastava, Department of Hindi. The result was announced on 30.01.2025.
