A Grand Welcome of the First batch of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning was celebrated by Fresher’s Day 2024. The much-anticipated Freshers’ Fiesta for the AI and ML Department kicked off with great enthusiasm. The event was graced by our esteemed guests: Ms Puja, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, and Mr. Adweetya Sinha, Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science, along with various other distinguished faculty members. The celebration began on a spiritual note with a unique prayer dance that beautifully harmonized the essence of three different religions, showcasing the unity in diversity that our college embodies. This was followed by a melodious group song that resonated with the audience, filling the hall with warmth. Adding a literary touch to the event, a heartfelt poem recitation took everyone on an emotional journey, reflecting the dreams and aspirations of the new batch of students. The poet’s words were a beautiful reminder of the power of literature to inspire and move hearts. The stage then came alive with two mesmerizing solo dance performances. The first was a graceful Kathak performance, where the dancer’s intricate footwork and expressive gestures captivated everyone. The second was a Bharatnatyam performance, exuding elegance and tradition, leaving the audience in awe of the performer’s skill and dedication. The grand finale was a vibrant Bollywood group dance, bringing a burst of energy to the evening. The performers’ enthusiasm and synchronized moves had everyone tapping their feet and cheering loudly, ending the evening on a high note.
Our esteemed guests, Ms. Puja and Mr. Adweetya Sinha, addressed the gathering, sharing words of wisdom and encouragement. They emphasized the importance of embracing this new academic journey with enthusiasm and a spirit of innovation. The event was seamlessly anchored by the students of our department who kept the audience engaged and ensured a smooth flow of the program. Their energy and charm added a special touch to the evening.
The highlight of the evening was the crowning of Miss Fresher. After much anticipation and excitement, the title was awarded to Ms. Samriddhi Tiwary, who dazzled everyone with her talent, grace, and confidence.
The Freshers’ Fiesta was not just an event but an experience that marked the beginning of an exciting academic journey for the new students of AI and ML. It was a perfect blend of cultural heritage, talent, and youthful exuberance, setting a promising tone for the year ahead.
