The Department of Fashion Designing, Patna Women’s College celebrated Fresher’s Day with flair and excitement on Wednesday, August 31, 2024. The event was a lively introduction to the new academic year, showcasing the impressive talents of the new students of Fashion Designing Department.
The Program started with lighting the ceremonial lamp by Chief guest Sister Anna AC. and Ms. Amrita Prakash.
The ramp walk round added a warm and inspiring touch to this program, where new students showcased their creative designs and fashion sense. The event also featured colorful dance and lively musical performances. The dance performance included vibrant renditions of Punjabi, Orissa, and Rajasthani songs, as well as energetic folk dances from Bihar.
These performances delighted the audience and demonstrated the student’s diverse talents beyond just fashion design. The program was a great opportunity for new students to connect with each other and the faculty in a fun and engaging way.
Ambica Singh, BA. Sem-1 was declared Ms. fresher-2024. Vote of thanks was proposed by Shivangi and Priya. The whole event was conducted under the guidance of Head, Dr. Shemushi Madhu, coordinator Ms. Geetanjali Chaudhary and faculty Ms. Asha Pandey. The active support of other teachers, Priyanka Singh, Vandana Sinha and Dr. Purnima Roy contributed to making this event a success
