The Department of Computer Science & Applications, Patna Women’s College, Autonomous, Patna University, Patna organized a Freshers’ Day Programme 2024 for the MCA Semester –I (2024-2026) & PGDCA Semester -I (2024-2025) on 29.08.2022 in the New Lab, Dept. of Computer Science & Applications, MCA Block. The program started at 1:00 p.m. with Welcome address delivered by Sonam Kumari. The Cultural Coordinators Dr. Sister Celine Crasta A.C. & Ms. Enakshi Biswas was welcomed with a floral bouquet. Ms. Sushmita Chakraborty, Programme Coordinator, PGDCA & Assistant Professor welcomed the Guest and other faculty members of the dept.
Welcome Song was presented by Shristi and Group of PGDCA Semester I students. A beautiful poem on “Meri Umar ki Lardkiya” was recited by Khushboo Kumari and on “Aatmavishwas” was recited by Manisha Kumari. A Bollywood dance was also performed by Aprajita and Manisha Kumari. A short skit was also performed by Anjali Anand and group. The theme of the Skit was “UDAAN”. Lastly a Funny dance was performed by Anjali Kumari and Manisha Kumari by the students of MCA Semester -I students.
All the performances were appreciated by Cultural Committee Member. The excitement of the event was even more palpable due to the highly anticipated Miss Fresher’s Segment. Sonam Kumari, Roll No 29 of MCA Sem-I (2024-2026) batch was chosen for Miss Fresher’s 2024. The program was concluded with the valuable feedback and motivational thoughts given by Ms. Enakshi Biswas Cultural Coordinator & Head, Performing Arts. The programme was performed under the supervision of Ms. Sushmita Chakraborty, Programme Coordinator, PGDCA & Assistant Professor, Dept. of Computer Science & Applications. The decoration for the event was done by the students of MCA Semester -I Students. Anchoring of the event was done by Sonam Kumari of MCA Semester -I. Lastly Vote of Thanks was proposed by Divya Mishra student of MCA Semester –I.
Heads of the Department of AI & ML and Data Science & Analytic and faculty members of the Department and students of MCA Semester I and PGDCA Semester -I were present on the occasion.
