Guest Lecture on “The Future of Research Writing: Leveraging AI”
The Department of Computer Science and Applications at Patna Women’s College successfully organized a guest lecture on the topic, “The Future of Research Writing: Leveraging AI,” on 23rd October 2024. The lecture was delivered by Mr. Roshan Singh, Founder and CEO of Scrollwell, a leading expert in the application of AI to various technological solutions, especially in research and academic writing.The program commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Bhawna Sinha, Head, Department of Computer Science and Applications, followed by an introduction of the guest speaker, Mr. Roshan Singh. In his presentation, Mr. Singh shared a detailed overview of the impact of AI on research writing, outlining how AI-powered tools can assist researchers at various stages of writing—from brainstorming ideas to editing and refining content.
The primary aim of this event was to provide students and faculty members with insights into how artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing research writing processes.

– The role of AI in automating mundane tasks such as proofreading, grammar checking, and citation management.
