On September 27,2024, the Department of Social Work of Patna Women’s College (Autonomous) Patna University and ‘SAMARTH’ Social Work Club in collaboration with JEEVIKA and I-SAKSHAM, Bihar under P.A.C.E (Personal Advancement and Career Enhancement) held an interactive session on Nurturing Young Minds through Edu-leaders fellowship programme an initiative by JEEVIKA and I – SAKSHAM, Bihar. The students of Social Work Club ‘SAMARTH’ participated and interacted with the Edu-leaders and shared their experiences. The Edu leaders were informed about various government fellowship programmes and career opportunities by Dr. Mridul Mishra, Head, Department of Social Work, Patna Women’s College and Coordinator, Social Work Club, PWC. They were encouraged to enable themselves to solve grassroots level issues which would drive transformative change in their personal life and create a nurturing ecosystem for other girls and women and how they can Solve educational challenges in their path. The faculty members of the Department of Social Work, Sr. Sanjana A.C and Sr. Bhagyam A.C were also present. The students were also informed about various initiatives taken by JEEVIKA and I-SAKSHAM for the adolescent girls of Bihar and the entire session ended on a fruitful note.
