ONLINE GUEST LECTURE ON Research Methodology: Exploring Process of Research Topic Selection

On 3rd August, 2024, Department of Economics, Patna Women’s College organised a Guest Lecture by Dr. Barna Ganguli, Faculty, Bihar Institute of Public Finance and Policy (Research cell Finance Department) in online mode. She is an alumnus of our college, passed out in the year 1995. The topic of the lecture was ‘Research Methodology: Exploring Process of Research Topic Selection’. It was organised for the students of semester Vth in order to improve their research ideas focusing on the selection of research topics as they are involved in Student Research Projects and Dissertation in their final year of graduation. She focused on framing objectives and hypothesis and importance of data availability for conducting research.
