Organised an online lecture under “PWC Alumni Connect”

Department of English, Patna Women’s College organised an online lecture under “PWC Alumni Connect” programme on August 8, 2024 at 12 pm in Carmel Hall. This initiative aims to provide the students and teachers a platform to listen to and interact with the prominent alumni of the department.
The topic of the lecture was “Personal Development And Self-Discovery : Building Self-Confidence”. The guest speaker was Dr. Manjari Shukla, Council Member, WICCI, Uttar Pradesh Education Council. She is an alumna (session 2006-09) of the department of English, Patna Women’s College. She shared her understanding of mindfulness, time management, goal setting and overall personal, financial, emotional and spiritual well being. It was an interactive session that included engaging activities to create self awareness amongst the participants. Students also shared their views and experiences.
The session was moderated by Pihu Khandelwal, a student of B.A sem V, and Vote of thanks was proposed by Mandira, a student of M.A. semester I. The lecture was attended by the students of B.A. semester III and Ⅴ.
