Orientation Programme for newly enrolled students of DISHA under the initiative AARAMBH 1.0
Patna Women’s College (Autonomous) Patna University in collaboration with DISHA – a Competitive Examination Guidance Cell, organized an Orientation Programme for newly enrolled students of DISHA under the initiative AARAMBH 1.0 on September 21, 2024. The event featured prominent resource persons, Mr. Ravi Shankar Prasad, a mentor in competitive exams, and Mr. Vishwa Bhaskar, a management consulting professional. It commenced with a prayer song, invoking blessings for the gathering, followed by the presentation of plant saplings to the mentors. Ms. Amrita Prakash, Coordinator of DISHA and Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Applications (BCA), delivered the Welcome Address. The mentors conducted a comprehensive PowerPoint presentation, providing essential insights on various competitive exams and strategic approaches to achieving academic goals. The event, attended by 62 students from diverse streams, was meticulously coordinated by Ms. Prakash. Compering was handled by Mariyum Fatima, Vice Premier, Student Council (2024-25), while the Vote of Thanks was presented by Preeti Singh, General Secretary, Student Council (2024-25). This orientation marks a significant step in empowering students for their competitive examination journeys.
