Parents Teachers Meeting 2024
The Department of Economics at Patna Women’s College organized a Parents-Teachers Meeting for the first-year students on 19th October 2024 at 10 a.m. in room no. 39. The purpose was to facilitate communication between parents and faculty regarding students’ progress, academic performance, and college initiatives. Teachers presented an overview of each student and highlighted areas needing improvement.
Dr. Zareen Fatima, Head of the Department of Economics, emphasized the significance of attendance and participation in class, as well as in extracurricular activities, for the holistic growth of students. She also mentioned that the college has an e-library that students should utilize for their benefit. Parents were encouraged to voice their concerns, and their suggestions were acknowledged and welcomed. They expressed appreciation for the college’s efforts in maintaining academic standards.
The meeting was productive, fostering a collaborative environment between parents and teachers. Continued engagement and communication will be crucial in supporting students’ success.
