Brief Report :
Continuing with its Annual Tradition, a Patriotic Song Competition was organized at Patna Women’s College on Thursday, in which twelve groups participated with great enthusiasm. The competition began with code one where the group presented a pulsating patriotic song ‘Ye desh mera jahan…’From flag tattoo to tri colour jackets, orange turban the event saw colourful participation by the students. Each member performed well and applauded by the audience. Dr. Bhawna Sinha, Head, Deparment of Computer Applications MCA, as the judge of the occasion appreciated the participants and also gave some valuable feedback to the student about, how to use the instruments and microphone. She also stressed one how to present the performance on the stage. In her address, Dr. Meena Kishore, Former Head, Department of Psychology, reiterated that the competition was incredible. She also said “we should not celebrate patriotism for one day only. We should imbibe patriotism in our heart and dedicate ourselves to our country forever. The Principal, Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C. addressed applauded the participants on their performance. On the occasion code 12 won the 1st prize, code 10 2nd and the third prize was bagged by code 11.
