Quiz Competition on World Wildlife Week

The department of Zoology, Patna Women’s College Autonomous, Patna University, organized ” A Quiz Competition ” on World Wildlife Week 2024 in collaboration with the Department of Zoology, Sophia Girls’ College, Autonomous, Ajmer on October 4, 2024.

The program commenced with seeking the blessings of almighty God with a prayer song and then the welcome address and highlight over the importance of Wildlife Conservation was delivered by Dr. Shobha Shrivastava Dean, Faculty of Science and Head, Department of Zoology PWC. The Quiz Competition was moderated by Dr.Sapna Kumari, Assistant Professor, Department of Zoology via Mentimeter app.
Total 94 students participated in the quiz.
Shivani Rathore,Sophia Girls’ College secured first position followed by, Teesha Gupta, Sophia Girls’ College with second position and Shubhangini Ranjan, Patna Women’s College secured third position.
Students of both the colleges participated enthusiastically and were very excited as after every question leaderboard showed correct answer and voting percentage.

Ruqqaya Fatima, Sem-III, Department of Zoology, PWC moderated the entire event while Muskan Bharti, student of Sem-III, Department of Zoology, PWC delivered the Vote of Thanks.

The event was well-attended by faculty members of both the colleges and active participation of students was seen. Programme ended with National Anthem.
