An orientation programme was organized for the newly registered Members of Tark, The Debating Society in Carmel Hall, Patna Women’s College on 22nd October, 2024.
The guest of honour and the resource person for the event was Miss Divya Gautam, Research Scholar and Theatre Artist, School of Media and Cultural Studies, BITS Pilani. The event began with the Welcome Address proposed by Dr. Shahla Rehana, Associate Professor, Department of English and Club Coordinator Tark.
This was followed by Miss Divya Gautam then addressing the students who shared her expertise and knowledge in the club. She also emphasized on the importance of Debate
. Dr. Shehla Rehana, Coordinator, Tark, then emphasized the aims and objectives of the club and shared important insights on how to Debate.
The event was graced by Dr Sahar Rahman, Head, Department of English, Patna Women’s College.
The entire event was moderated by Miss Soumya Vartika and the Vote of Thanks was proposed by Miss Shreya Ghoshal.
