The Department of Computer Applications (MCA) at Patna Women’s College, in collaboration with Intern Nexus, successfully organized the seminar “Tech Parivartan (Bihar-11) – Transforming Careers Through Technology.” The event, held at 11:30 AM, aimed to provide students with insights into the vast opportunities in the IT sector, with a special emphasis on emerging technologies. Dr. Bhawna Sinha, Head of the MCA Department, started the programme with a welcome address who set the tone for an engaging and insightful session. The distinguished guest speakers included Mr. Piyush Pandey, CEO of Intern Nexus, Mr. Rakesh Kumar, Director of Intern Nexus, and Dr. Pooja, an industry expert. Mr. Piyush Pandey, the spokesperson for the event, introduced the “Tech Parivartan” initiative, highlighting its role in bridging the gap between students and industry through internships and placement opportunities, while encouraging students to explore advancements in AI, ML, and software development.
The seminar also focused on the concept of the Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC), where students were introduced to its definition, significance, different phases, and essential steps involved in software development. The discussion extended to various aspects of software development, covering tools used for requirement gathering, such as Google Fencing, Trello, and Jira, as well as UI/UX designing with platforms like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and Zeplin.
An interactive Q&A session concluded the seminar, offering students valuable knowledge about technological trends and career prospects. This collaboration aims to empower students by keeping them informed in the field of technology.
