Department of English, Patna Women’s College, organised a Speech Competition in collaboration with Tark Debating Society on the topic ‘My Idea of Freedom’. Nine students of MA semester 1 participated in the competition. Dr Sahar Rahman, Head, Department of English and Ms Fiza Darakshan, Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science judged the event.
Muskan Singh was declared winner of the competition. Falaque Abdul Jalil and Anjali Sharma bagged the second and third position respectively. Anam Khursid of MA 1 anchored the progamme and vote of thanks was proposed by Shambhavi Somya of MA semester 1. Students of MA sem III and MA sem I were present on the occasion.
