The Department of Statistics Alumni Meet 2024
The Department of Statistics celebrated its annual alumni meet on 17th October 2024, bringing together faculty, current students, and our esteemed alumni for a day filled with joy and nostalgia. Under the leadership of Ms. Moon, Head, Department of Statistics, the alumni were welcomed with personalized badges and beautiful roses, by Khushi and Sneha from Semester 3.
The professors of our department, Dr. Amit Kumar, Asst. Prof. Department of Statistics, Ms. Monika Rashmi, Asst. Prof. Department of Statistics, Ms. Fatma Wajiha, Asst. Prof. Department of Statistics, also welcomed the alumni.
The program kicked off with an inspiring welcome address by Ms. Moon, setting a warm and inviting tone for the day. Highlights included a captivating solo dance performance by Dolly (Sem 3), an engaging statistics-themed quiz game led by our energetic anchors, and heartfelt contributions from Aishwarya (Sem 3) who recited a speech and a touching poem. The vibrant spirit continued with a lively group dance by our Semester 1 students, followed by a fun-filled musical chair game hosted by our Semester 5 students, where winners were rewarded with unique gifts.
The gathering culminated in a series of memorable speeches from alumni, sharing their experiences and insights with the audience. The event was wrapped up with a heartfelt vote of thanks, acknowledging everyone who made this day possible. The anchors for the event were Purbasa and Sakshi from Semester 5.
