Department of Biotechnology (M.Sc.), Patna Women's College, Autonomous, Patna University organized a Fresher’s Day Programme to welcome the 1st batch of MSc students (2022-2024) on 29.08.2022. Students welcomed the cultural committee members, Dr. Sister Celine Crasta A.C. & Ms. Taniya Banerjee along with teachers of the department with a special creative badge & flower bouquet. Kumari Nidhi and Sania Arshad hosted the event meticulously. The program started with welcome song by Nada Fatima and Group. The whole program was based on the theme of “Women Empowerment” which was addressed by an excellent poetry recited by Riya Shukla and a dance performance by Kalpana and group. Lastly, a motivational group song was performed by Anjali Rani & group. Dr. Celine and Ms. Taniya praised all the performances by the students, their simple but coordinated dress senses and the women empowerment messages included in decorations and performances. At the end, Dr Arti Kumari, Head Department of Biotechnology once again welcomed the students to the Department of Biotechnology and thanked Cultural committee members for their gracious presence. She also appreciated students for their wonderful performances and motivated students to keep focus on their major goals in life. All teachers of the department were present during the program. The whole program provided a great platform to showcase the creative skills and talents of students with full energy and enthusiasm.
