Students Faculty Exchange Programme on 8th of February,2023.

As a part of STUDENT FACULTY EXCHANGE programme, six students and two teachers, Mr. Nishant Pal and Ms. Mimansa Khangarot from the Department of Political Science, Sophia Girls’ College (Autonomous), Ajmer visited the Department of Political Science, Patna Women’s College (Autonomous). The inaugural ceremony was held on 4th February, 2023, and the felicitation was conducted on 8th of February,2023. The Principal. Sister M. Rashmi A.C. addressed the students while focussing on the rich heritage and legacy of the College. Mr. Alok John, Dean, National and International Collaboration and Consultancy Services, thanked the patron of the respective Colleges. The Head of the Department, Dr. Vinita Priyedarshi emphasized about the department’s achievements. The teachers of Sophia Girls’ College engaged classes of “Indian Political Thought and International Law” for the students of Patna Women’s College, on the other hand, the teachers of Patna Women’s College taught “Western Political Philosophy” and “International Relations” to the students of Sophia Girls’ College Ajmer. The students had extensive intellectual exchange which has strengthened the academic bonhomie between the two institutions.

Students Faculty Exchange Programme on 27th January, 2023.

Students Faculty Exchange Programme between Patna Women’s College (Autonomous) and Holy Cross College (Autonomous), Tiruchirappalli – A six-day student and faculty exchange programme between Patna Women’s College Autonomous and Holy Cross College Tiruchirappalli started on 27th January, 2023. The Exchange programme is conducted at the aegis of Centre for National, International Collaborations & Consultancy Services (NICCS) under the stewardship of Alok John, Dean – NICCS.
A team of 12 students and 2 teachers are on an academic visit from Holy Cross College Tiruchirappalli to Patna Women’s College. In the induction programme, Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C., Principal, Patna Women’s College emphasised on the importance of academic exchange programmes between the collaborating institutions. Under this programme, the visiting students will be attending customised courses GIS in the Department of Geography and 3D Animation in the Department of Computer Application. The visiting teachers, Dr. Arockia Sahaya Sheela, Head, Department of Data Science and Ms. V. Amala Deepa, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, Holy Cross College, Tiruchirappalli will undertake classes on Data Science and Data Analytics and Machine Learning with Python in the PG Department of Computer Application, Patna Women’s College.

Patna Women’s College collaborations with prominent Colleges of the Country

As a remarkable milestone in the field of institutional Partnership, Patna Women’s College (Autonomous) signed MoU with 17 prominent Colleges of the Country in May, 2022.

 

The Collaboration has been initiated mainly for the purpose of Student – Teacher exchange programmes, Collaborative Research and Publications, Cultural exchange and sharing of common resources and expertise in the fields of Consultancy, Accreditation and Ranking, Institutional Benchmarking and Best Practises.

The Programme was initiated by the Xavier Board of Higher Education India and was held at St. Albert’s College, Ernakulum, Kerala. Principals, Vice Principals, Deans, IQAC Coordinators and Senior Academic Officers from the member Institutions of Xavier Board were the delegates for the programme. From Patna Women’s College, Alok John, Dean – National, International Collaborations and Consultancy Services participated in the mega event.

The functioning of Dean’s office is steered by Mr. Alok John. He bring into his expertise and professional experience for collaborating and establishing linkages with renowed Institutions of the Country and Abroad.
