Star College Scheme – DBT

Keeping in mind the objectives of Star College Scheme to support for developing academic infrastructure and laboratory activities that in turn is expected to revitalize teaching and learning of Science subjects, Patna Women’s College had been selected by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India, under Star College Scheme for the period 2018 – 2021 for six Science departments:-

• Department of Physics
• Department of Chemistry
• Department of Zoology
• Department of Botany
• Department of Microbiology
• Department of Computer Science

This scheme had been initiated with an idea to enhance conceptual clarity, development of scientific thinking and creativity among student. The Science Departments are academically very active and constantly strive to enhance scientific temperament, technical skill and knowledge. Our endeavour continues to be one of quality sustenance and excellence in all fields.
