Disha – Paper I of UGC NET

From May 1-3,2023, Disha: Competitive Examination Guidance Cell conducted the three days orientation programme of NET/SET for Paper I in “online mode” for students of all the PG Departments, Patna Women’s College.

On the first day, the session was commenced by Dr. Shubhra Tripathi, Assistant Professor, Dept. Of Education, Patna Women’s College who deliberated upon the topic “Teaching Aptitude” in Session I.  It was followed by a lecture delivered by Mr. Alok John, Dean, NICCS, Patna Women’s College on the topic “Communication” in Session II.

On the second day of the orientation programme, the first session was conducted by Ms. Manisha Prasad, Assistant professor, Department of Computer Science, Patna Women’s College on the topic “Information and Communication Technology”. It was followed by another lecture delivered by Mr. Alok John, Dean, NICCS, Patna Women’s College  on the topic “Higher Education System” in Session II.

On the third day, the first session was conducted by Dr.Shruti Narain, Associate professor, Department of Applied Psychology, Faculty of Behavioral and Applied Sciences. Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies, Faridabad on the topic “Research Aptitude”.  It was followed by  another session by Mr. Kundan Kumar, Assistant professor, Department of Geography, Nilamber Pitamber University, Jharkhand  on “People, Development and Environment” in Session II.

Each session was regulated by an interactive session between the resource person and the participants. It concluded successfully with the participation of 16 PG Students from different Departments.
