The Research Cell of Patna Women’s College successfully concluded its Student Research Project (SRP) Presentation 2026, held from 5th to 9th January 2026, marking a week-long celebration of research, innovation, and academic excellence.
The event saw active participation from students of 28 departments representing Science, Technology, Social Sciences, Humanities, Commerce, Management, Education, and Computer Applications. Spread across nine well-structured sessions conducted in morning and afternoon slots, SRP 2026 fostered meaningful interdisciplinary dialogue and scholarly engagement.
Students presented research on a wide range of contemporary and socially relevant themes, including Artificial Intelligence and Deepfake Detection, Post-Quantum Cryptography, Mental Health in the Digital Era, Microplastic Biodegradation, Sustainable and Green Technologies, Women’s Livelihood and Financial Literacy, Urban Flooding using GIS, Biotechnology-driven Healthcare Solutions, and Media and Democratic Processes.
The presentations were evaluated by subject experts from diverse fields, who provided insightful feedback and academic guidance. A major highlight of SRP 2026 is that the winning research papers will be published in the College’s prestigious peer-reviewed journals Explore and Quest, offering students valuable exposure to academic publishing.
