The Department of Commerce, Patna Women’s College, organised 3 Days’ Career Fair, starting from 21st September to 23rd September. The event was inaugurated on 21st September ,2022 for the students of B.Com in Mother Veronica Excellence and Innovation cell. The Welcome Address was given by Dr. Soofia Fatima, HOD, Department of Commerce. She emphasised on the career development of the students and about the importance of Professional Programmes in shaping future of the students.
The Resource Persons of the event were CS Rachna (Chairperson, Patna Chapter, ICSI), CS Nikita Sinha and CS Alok Kumar. The Session was very interactive as the resource persons discussed the efficacy of the CS Profession.
The session was very informative for the students who have inclination towards professional programme of Company Secretaries by ICSI with immense attractive career opportunities. After providing all the relevant details of the CS Programme, Resources Persons highlighted on the curriculum details and guided the students with the role as well as importance of Company Secretaries in India.
The programme was compered by Ms. Kirti Kamal and Vote of Thanks was proposed by CS Shweta Shah. It was attended by teachers of Department of Commerce- Ms. Sagarika, Ms. Puja, Ms. Nikky, Ms. Neha and Mr. Gautam Saurabh. The Programme was concluded with National Anthem.

The Department of Commerce, Patna Women’s College, organised 3 Days’ Career Fair, starting from 21st September to 23rd September. The Event was inaugurated on 21st September ,2022 for the students of B.Com in Mother Veronica Excellence and Innovation cell. The Resource person for the event on 22nd of September, was Mr.Sudhir Sinha, CEO & Head of Operations, Sinha & Associates, Patna. The session on ‘Career Opportunities in Financial Sector’ was full of enriching information on Banking, Wealth Management and Financial Planning. The resource person gave valuable insights on a plethora of career avenues in financial sector available for commerce students. At the end there was interactive session between the students and resource persons, whereby students cleared their doubts and were inquisitive on the lucrative openings of career for them in this sector.
The programme concluded with Vote of Thanks by Ms. Puja Kumari. It was attended by teachers of Department of Commerce-CS Shweta Shah, Ms. Kirti Kamal, Ms. Sagarika, Ms. Nikky, Ms. Neha and Mr. Gautam Saurabh.

The Department of Commerce, Patna Women’s College, organised 3 Days’ Career Fair, starting from 21st September to 23rd September. The Event was inaugurated on 21st September ,2022 for the students of B.Com in Mother Veronica Excellence and Innovation cell. The Welcome Address was given by Dr. Soofia Fatima, HOD, Department of Commerce. She emphasised on the career development of the students and about the importance of Professional Programmes in shaping future of the students in the realm of fighting financial crimes .
The Resource person for the event on 23rd of September,2022, was Mr.Kumar Gaurav, Director- Partnerships, India, Client Fabric Tech (India, UK, Australia based Financial & Risk Management Firm) . The session on ‘Career in Fighting Financial Crimes was full of enriching information for the interested students of Semester V of B.Com, BBA, AMM and B.A (Economics) . The resource person gave valuable insights on career options for students in fighting financial crimes. He also emphasised on the relevance of Certification Courses in Due Diligence. At the end there was an interactive session for the inquisitions regarding future prospects in this stream of career from local to global.
