The Department of Computer Applications, Patna Women’s College, Patna University, Patna organized a Guest Lecture on the topic “Current Trends, Applications and Future Directions of Blockchain Technology” on 03.09.2022. Ms. Manisha Prasad, Head Department of Computer Applications gave the welcome address to our guest, Dr. Priyanka Kumar, Asst. Professor, School of Computer, Amrita Vishwa-Vidyapeetham, Tamil Nadu. Students of all the semesters of Computer Applications attended this lecture.

Dr. Priyanka gave a breif information about Block-chain technology and the basics of it. She also encouraged the students to explore more about this topic and the career prospects in this field.
