An excursion trip to Rajgir
On 9th February 2025, a group of 35 students, accompanied by four teachers, embarked on an excursion trip to Rajgir, Bihar under the guidance of Dr. Zareen Fatima, Head, Department of Economics. The trip aimed to provide students with both cultural and historical insights.
The journey began with an adventurous zip-lining experience to Shanti Stupa, offering breathtaking views and an opportunity for students to appreciate its significance as a symbol of peace. After this thrilling start, the group visited the Veerayatan Museum, which houses intricate artwork and exhibits depicting Jain philosophy and historical events. The final destination was Nalanda University, an ancient center of learning, where students explored the ruins and gained valuable knowledge about India’s rich academic heritage.
The trip was both educational and enjoyable, providing students with an engaging way to connect with history and culture beyond the classroom.
