Patna Women’s College (Autonomous) Patna University formally organized an
Inauguration Ceremony of the New Academic Programmes 2025 which included M.A. in History, M.A. in Economics and B.Sc. (Hons.) in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics on June 28, 2025 in Carmel Hall. Shri Ajay Yadav, Secretary, Education Department and Secretary, Excise and Registration Department, Government of Bihar graced the Inaugural Ceremony as the Chief Guest. The program commenced with the ceremonial Lighting of the Lamp by the Chief Guest, Shri Ajay Yadav, Secretary, Education Department and Excise and Registration Department, Government of Bihar, the Honorable Principal, Dr. Sister M Rashmi A.C., respected Dr. Sister Jincy A.C., Superior, Avila Convent; Dr. Sister Celine CrastaA.C., Head, Department of History; Dr. Zarin Fatima, Head, Department of Economics and Dr. Shazia Husain, Coordinator, Department of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics and three student representatives, one from each of the newly introduced courses. The Honorable Principal, Dr. Sister M Rashmi A.C. honored the Chief Guest with a plant sapling and a memento later followed by her address where she acknowledged the introduction of the newly introduced PG and UG Courses and applauded the efforts of the entire faculties involved. Dr. Sister Celine Crasta A.C., Head, Department of History; Dr. Zarin Fatima, Head, Department of Economics and Dr. Shazia Husain, Coordinator, Department of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics addressed the gathering and wished the students for their new journey that lies before them. After that one Student Representative from each of the newly introduced Departments addressed the gathering, expressing their feelings and what all the college offers them to explore. After all the speeches, Shri Ajay Yadav, Chief Guest addressed the gathering and appreciated the college for offering the best in terms of both academics as well as Cultural Activities. The entire event was moderated by Ms. Kamaljeet Kaur, Assistant Professor, Department of Economics and the Vote of Thanks was proposed by Mr. Siddhant Parashar, Assistant Professor, Department of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics
