Brief report:

Patna Women’s College (Autonomous) had organised Annual Sports Meet every year. This year, the Sports Meet was organised on 18th January 2020  The programme began with the hosting the Collage flag by Mr.s Promod kumar (Minister of Sugercane industries and minister of Law in the government of Bihar ) followed by the flagship March Past. UG 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students of all the departments along with PG students participated in various Sports events. The 1st year students participated in the Yoga demonstration. Aerobic dance was performed by the students of second year. The students also participated in various Track and Field tournaments like 100-mts Hurdles, 100-mts, 200-mts and 800-mts Sprint Race, etc. Teaching and non-teaching Staff together with 4500 students took part in the Grand Finale, followed up by the Prize Distribution Ceremony. The event was concluded with the March Past performed by UG 3rd year and PG students along with NCC Cadets and NSS volunteers. The event was coordinated by Dr. Manjula Sushila, Head, Department of Hindi and Sports Coordinator; and Ms. Quazi Bushra Ahmad, Sports Teacher, Patna Women’s College. The entire event was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C., Principal, Patna Women’s College (Autonomous).
