On 24th March 2023, the department of Economics of Patna Women’s College , has taken a commendable initiative by distributing a Hygiene kit comprising of hand made handkerchief by students of semester VI, sanitary napkins and handwash to ICWA students under the guidance of Dr. Sister Celine Crasta A.C. head department of History ; Dr. Zareen Fatima ,head department of Economics .
The distribution of these essentials is a significant step towards breaking this taboos and normalizing discussion about menstrual health and hygiene . By providing them with these essentials items, the students of Semester VI are not only supporting their basic needs but also contributing to their overall health and well being.
