Declamation

The Students of Communicative English and Media Studies organised a “Declamation” Contest on April 15, 2023. It is a recitation of a speech in a way that demonstrates one’s elocution. The speeches delivered were Indian in context. There were in total 8 participants speaking the speeches on great personalities of India like Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Kiran Bedi, etc.

The following work was assigned by Mr Amitabh Ranjan, faculty of CEMS.On the feedback part, sir adviced the participants to work on their expressions,time limit, punctuations and also the speech selection. The students must have a brief knowledge of how to deliver a good and impactful speech to the audience. He also briefed us on some popular speeches give by the great Indian personalities.
