Department of Biotechnology – Fresher’s Day Celebration 2025
On 28th July 2025, the Department of Biotechnology, Patna Women’s College (Autonomous), Patna University, enthusiastically hosted a Fresher’s Day celebration to warmly welcome the incoming students and mark the beginning of an enriching academic journey.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of the department, who showcased their talents in diverse fields such as dance, music, poetry, and more showcasing the college’s dynamic culture . Anaya’s captivating poetry performance left a lasting impression on the audience, earning her the title of ‘Miss Fresher’ for the academic year 2025. The vibrant performances added energy and spirit to the celebration, fostering a sense of camaraderie and creativity.
Valuable feedback was shared by the esteemed judges — Dr. Priyanka, Assistant Professor, Department of History, and Ms. Komal, Assistant Professor, Department of Sociology. Their insights inspired students to embrace learning with a renewed perspective and to strive for continuous personal and academic growth.
The programme was successfully conducted under the able leadership of Dr. Aarti Kumari, Head, Department of Biotechnology . The active involvement and encouragement of all faculty members played a pivotal role in the smooth execution and overall success of the event leading to a perfect start of the new academic year with a blend of celebration, motivation and togetherness.
