Dept of Fashion Designing Guest Lecture 2025
Department of Fashion Designing , Patna Women’s College organized a guest lecture under students development program on 28th June 2025 . The lecture was delivered by Mr. Kumar Vikas, Associate professor, NIFT, Patna on the topic “Designing with purpose: understanding the basics.” The session started with the welcome speech of Dr. Shemushi Madhu, HOD, Department of Fashion Designing . Coordinator Ms Geetanjali Chaudhary welcomed the guest by presenting a floral bouquet. This lecture provided a good understanding of the basics and purpose of Designing. Students learnt to develop a clear vision and analytical thinking for usability and functionality in designing products. All Fashion Designing students and faculty members of the department were present at his event.
