Face Painting competition 2025
ECO Task Force in collaboration with the Department of Zoology, Patna Women’s College, Autonomous, Patna University, organized a Face Painting competition to celebrate International Tiger Day on 29th July, 2025.
The programme was organized to raise awareness for tiger conservation and
importance of preserving their natural habitat. The slogan of the event was “ Tiger’s stripes,
World’s pride.”
The event showcased a vibrant display of artistic talent and their creativity skills that highlighted the college’s commitment to fostering creativity and providing platform for
students to express themselves in a fun way to celebrate international tiger day.
This was a group event and it saw enthusiastic participation of 54 groups (108 students) from
different Departments of Patna Women’s College.
The competition was judged by extremely talented and creative panel of judges consisting of
Dr. Urvashi Sinha, Assistant Professor, Department of Botany,
Ms. Gitanjali Chaudhary, Coordinator, Department of Fashion Designing and
Sr Luveena AC, Assistant Professor, Department of Zoology, Patna Women’s College.

The programme was smoothly conducted under the supervision of Dr. Shobha Shrivastava, Head, Department of Zoology and Vice President ECO Task Force.
The programme was coordinated by Dr. Sumeet Ranjan, Assistant Professor, Department of Zoology and Secretary, ECO Task Force.
Student incharge was Shailja Gautam, Environment and Discipline Secretary, Council Cabinet (2025-26) Patna Women’s College.
Dr Sapna Kumari, Dr Neetu, Mr Rajeev Ranjan, Sr Luveena AC, Ms Aishwarya Shree and Himali Raj, Assistant Professors of the Department of Zoology were present and actively involved during the activity.
