The Department of Physics organised the Fresher’s Day 2023 on 26th July, 2023. All the newcomers, UG and PG students flashed their talents in this event. The event started with the welcoming of the respected guests, Dr Jaya Philip, HOD Microbiology and Mr Adweetiya Sinha, Assistant Professor, Political Science. The programme kicked off with a soulful welcome song along with a spiritual prayer dance performed by the B.Sc Semester 1 students. Moving forward we had a guitar playing session, which was tunefully performed by Aditi Singh, a B.Sc sem 1 student, a solo dance performance by a PG sem 1 student Anushka Gunjan and a solo singing session by a UG sem 1 student, Shefali. Thereafter the students of UG sem 1 performed a fantabulous Bollywood dance. Then Farya Khanam, a PG sem 1 student proposed a vote of thanks. Special guests, Dr Jaya Philip and Mr Adweetiya Sinha enlightened the students with their speeches. And the programme ended with a closure thanking speech by the anchors, Himangi Naidu and Ocean Stephen, students of B.Sc sem 1. The students were guided by the professors throughout the event. The department faculty members, Dr. Kavita Verma, Dr. Riekshika Sanwari and Mr. Dharmendra Rai were also present during the event.
