Freshers’ Day, 31st July, 2024.
The Department of Economics organized Freshers’ Day for the first year students on 31st July 2024 to welcome the new batch of enthusiastic and vibrant students. The guests for the programme were Dr. Sister Celine Crasta A.C. Head Department of History, Miss Manisha Prasad Head Department of Computer science and Shristi Singh member of Student’s Council, faculty members and students were also present to motivate the performers. The event consisted of series of programs. It started with a prayer song followed by a welcome dance performed by Vijay Lakshmi and Vidya Sharma. The next performers for the day were Anshika, Sakshi and Subhangi who presented their beautifully composed poetries. A short light-hearted skit was also performed by the students. Thereafter, Arushi and group performed an enthusiastic dance on a medley song. The event was concluded on a melodious note by Vanshika and group. Shambhavi Kashyap was awarded the title of Miss Freshers 2024.
Dr. Sister Celine Crasta A.C and Miss Manisha Prasad congratulated students for having such a wonderful program. They appreciated them for their efforts and contribution for making it successful. The event was concluded with a vote of thanks followed by group photographs.
