The departments of Data Science and Analytics and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning has jointly organised a “Student Development Programme” on the topic “From Netflix to NASA: The Transformative Power of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science in Innovation and Career Development” on 28.08.2024 at 2:30 P.M.

The programme started with the prayer song. Dr. Priyadarshini, Head, Department of Data Science and Analytics welcomed the guest speaker Mr. Hritik Muskan, Data Scientist, Veritas Technologies LLC, Pune, Maharashtra. Ms. Poonam Abraham Lakra welcomed the speaker by presenting him a plant sampling as a token of appreciation.

Data scientist Mr Hrithik Muskan has an interactive session on Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning. He shared with the students all the knowledge and necessary skills to thrive in the dynamic field of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science and Analytics. He discussed about his experiences of handling unstructured data and reinforcement learning process at industrial level.

84 students were present at the time of event. The participants consist of the students of Data Science and Analytics (Major/Minor) and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (Major/Minor).
The students were highly enlightened and gained insights from this programme that will be invaluable for them as they embark on their careers, helping them to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving industry.
