The Department of Computer Applications (BCA), Patna Women’s College organized a Hands-on Training, Under Star College Scheme, DBT on the topic Gesture Robotics for the students of Semester II (2019-22) of the Department of Computer Applications (BCA), Patna Women’s College. During the training, the students learnt how to develop a Hand Gesture controlled robot which is a wireless robot which can be controlled by hand gesture i. e. by tilt of hand. The training was based on wireless communication. During the training the students developed a robot car and learnt how the data from the hand gestures is transmitted to the robot car over bluetooth. The project was divided into two parts: Receiver and Transmitter. Transmitter part was worn in hand to transmit the gesture and the robot car received those gestures and moved accordingly. They were given training on how to assemble a robot car and add functionality to the car by coding using Gesture Robotics. Students attended and got benefitted by this training.
