Department of Microbiology, Patna Women’s College organized Innovision : Start- up idea Presentation as a part of Vigyan Utsav 2025, theme for the competition was “Trash to Resource” on 25th February 2025 at 1 pm in Video Conferencing Hall in Science Block. It gave students an opportunity to come up with innovative ideas for sustainable development.
It was an Inter-College event in which a total of thirteen teams participated, 11 groups representing Patna Women’s College, while the other two teams were from J.D. Wmen’s College and Magadh Mahila College, Patna.
This initiative encouraged innovative minds to transform waste into valuable resources, promoting sustainability and entrepreneurship.
The event was judged by-
•Dr. Soofia Fatma, Dean, Commerce and Management, Patna Women’s College.
•Dr. Shazia Hussain, Assistant Professor, Department of Home Science, Patna Women’s College.
•Ms. Yosha Sinha, Assistant professor, Department of Advertising and Marketing Management, Patna Women’s College.
After the judgement of the competition, the 1st prize was bagged by code no 6 (Department of Chemistry, PWC), 2nd prize by code no 3 (Microbiology, PWC) and 3rd prize by code no 12 (Magadh Mahila College).
The event was well coordinated by Dr. Jaya Philip, Head, Department of Microbiology, Dr. Niti Yashvardhini, Dr. Preeti Swarupa, and Dr. Swetnisha. The anchors for the event were Yemna Abid and Saumya Sinha, Department of Microbiology, PWC.
