Literary Explorations: A Collaborative Lecture Series
As part of the collaborative activities with the MoU colleges, Department of English, St Xavier’s College Jaipur organized a lecture on the topic “The Tales of Cities: Literary Urbanism and the City’s Soul” in hybrid mode on Google meet platform on 21st September, 2024 from 10 am to 11 am. The talk was delivered by Dr Shruti Rawal, Assistant Professor, Department of English, St Xavier’s College Jaipur.
The students of the department of English from five colleges across India attended the lecture. The participating colleges were Sophia Girls’ College (Autonomous), Ajmer; Kristu Jayanti College (Autonomous), Bengaluru; General Shivdev Singh Diwan Gurbachan Singh Khalsa College (Autonomous), Patiala; and Patna Women’s College (Autonomous), Patna. Forty students of BA V participated in the lecture. The lecture was followed by an interactive session and a quiz and the students were asked to fill up the feedback forms.
