Patna Women’s College Hosts Online Guest Lecture on Career Potentials in Life Sciences Patna, March 10, 2025: The Department of Biotechnology, Patna Women’s College, in collaboration with the Placement and Career Counseling Committee, organized an online guest lecture on “Unlocking Career Potentials in Life Sciences” at the MVEIC Hall, Science Block. The event, held on March 10, 2025, at 10 a.m., aimed to inspire and guide students in exploring career opportunities in the field of life sciences.
The guest speaker, Dr. Laxmi Narayan Mishra, Principal Scientist at Revival Bio. Inc., Boston, Massachusetts, USA, shared valuable insights on understanding future dream careers, job scenarios in academics and industries, and learning to deal with fears and mistakes in career and research. Dr. Mishra’s expertise and experiences provided a unique perspective on the opportunities and challenges in the field of life sciences. The event began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by a welcome address by Dr. Arti Kumari, Head of the Department of Biotechnology, Patna Women’s College. Dr. Alok John, Dean of National and International Collaboration and Consultancy Services, Patna Women’s College, addressed the students on research development and government strategies in the field of life sciences.
Dr. Alok Ranjan, Assistant Professor, Patna Women’s College, Patna University, introduced the guest speaker. The lecture was followed by a Q&A and interaction session, where students enthusiastically asked questions and engaged with Dr. Mishra.
The event concluded with the national anthem, marking a memorable and enriching experience for the students and faculty members of Patna Women’s College.
