The Department of Data Science and Analytics conducted a Parents-Teacher Meeting (PTM) on 12th April, 2025 in the Data Science Lecture Room. The meeting aimed to foster better communication between faculty and parents and provide updates on students’ academic performance, departmental progress, and upcoming initiatives.
The meeting was well-attended by both faculty members and a significant number of parents. The Head of the Department, faculty coordinators, and course instructors were present to address parents’ queries and concerns.
The meeting commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Priyadarshini , the Head of the Department, who shared the department’s vision, recent achievements, and future plans.
Faculty members presented an overview of students’ academic performance, attendance records, and project involvement. Individual feedback sessions were also conducted for parents to discuss the progress of their respective wards.
The department briefed parents about internship programs and placement opportunities, emphasizing the importance of skill development and active participation in technical events.
Parents were encouraged to share feedback and suggestions regarding the academic environment, infrastructure, and student support systems. Many appreciated the department’s efforts and suggested increased interaction sessions and career guidance workshops.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Charu Mudgal, Class Representative, highlighting the importance of continuous collaboration between parents and teachers for the holistic development of students.
