“The question is not who is going to let me, the question is who is going to stop me”. This empowering quote set the tone for the Photography Exhibition organized by the Department of Communicative English and Media Studies (CEMS) at Patna Women’s College on March 1, 2025.The exhibition, themed ”Marching on Women’s Contribution to Bihar,” showcased the creative talents of Semester IV and VI students. The event was graced by Dr. Sr. M. Rashmi A.C., Principal, Patna women’s College, Dr. Sister M. Tanisha A.C., Vice Principal, Major IJ Sharma, Prof. Dr. Dennis Quilala, Head, Department of Communicative English and Media Studies and other faculty members.
Through innovative and real-life pictures, students presented their perspectives on the theme. The exhibition was a culmination of their learning experience, where they gained hands-on knowledge of basic camera settings, camera handling techniques, different types of shots, photography genres, and more.
The programme was coordinated by Dr. Tauseef Hassan, Head of the Department, CEMS, along with faculty members Ms. Runa, Mr. Frank Krishner, Mr. Prashant Ravi, and Mr. Amitabh Ranjan. The exhibition provided a unique opportunity for participating students to gain hands-on photography experience.
