Brief Report–
On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, ECO Task Force conducted a Rakhi Making Competition on 14th August 2019. Thirty ECO Task Force members of Zoology Department semester I, II and III participated in the competition and prepared beautiful Rakhi. They tied these rakhies to the trees in the campus to show the importance of trees. The main objective of this event was to signify traditionally that trees act as our protectors by providing us essential life elements such as fruits, flowers, timber and most important- oxygen. The students creatively made colourful Rakhis and tied it to the trees, showing a respect towards them.
