The Department of Commerce Professional at Patna Women’s College hosted an engaging and insightful Role Play Competition on Business Law, providing students with a unique opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical, real-world context. The event, which took place on 16th April 2025, aimed to foster a deeper understanding of the legal frameworks that govern business operations, while also encouraging creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking. Throughout the event, students demonstrated an impressive grasp of key case laws on Indian Contract Act and Sales of Goods Act.
Dr. Soofia Fatima, Dean and Head, Department of Commerce shared her words of encouragement for students at the end of the Programme. Judges and the guest for the event were Dr. Pallawi Ambresh Kumar, Head, Department of BBA and Dr. Shazia Rahman, Head, Department of AMM. CS Shweta Shah, Co-ordinator, Department of Commerce Professional announced the winners.
The entire programme was co-ordinated by Dr. Soofia Fatima, Dean and Head, Department of Commerce, CS Shweta Shah, Co-ordinator, Department of Commerce Professional and Ms. Mona Kumari, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce Professional. The programme was volunteered by Semester- II students of B.Com (Professional) and was attended by Semester- II students of B.Com (Accounting and Finance). The programme was attended by all the faculty members of the Department of Commerce and Commerce Professional.
