Speech Competition 2025
The department of Philosophy organised a Speech Competition in online mode on the theme “Vivekananda: The Forerunner of Indian Rennaisance” on the eve of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti and National Youth Day on 11.01.2025. Students of different semesters from the department participated in the competition. Each participant was alloted 5 minutes time-frame for their presentation.The evaluation was done on the basis of subject matter and clarity, pronunciation and overall impression. The Head of the Department Prof. (Dr.) Ameeta Jaiswal introduced the topic and spoke about the contribution of Swami Vivekananda in the Indian Renaissance. All the faculty members and students of the department were present. Yashashvi of Semester – VI won the 1st Prize, Vaidehi of Semester – IV won the 2nd prize and 3rd prize was awarded to two students Aditi Sinha of Semester-VI and Arundhati Sundram of Semester – IV.
