The Department of Economics organised Freshers’ Day 2025
The Department of Economics organised Freshers’ Day 2025 for the students of UG and PG Semester-I. The students practiced for days to showcase their skills and talent. The event was hosted by Pallavi and Shiza. The event started with a welcome song sung by Muskan and group. The girls thanked Almighty and welcomed the guests, teachers and all the freshers on their special day. Komal recited her beautiful self-composed poem based on the life of women. After that, Sonam and group presented a vibrant and energetic group dance on a medley song, it was followed by a melodious group song, and event concluded with a showstopping dance performance by Nisha and group.
The guests for the programme were Dr. Sister Celine Crasta A.C, Head, Department of History and Miss Manisha Prasad, Head, Department of Computer Science and Application. Dr. Sister Celine Crasta A.C motivated students with deep insightful words of wisdom and congratulated them for such an energetic beginning followed by the appreciative words by Miss Manisha Prasad to the students. Miss Freshers title was awarded to Miss Eksha from PG semester I.
