On May 10, 2025, the Srishti Environment Club of Patna Women’s College (Autonomous) visited The Great Biodiversity Exhibition organized by Tarumitra Ashram. This event was held under the ongoing MoU between Tarumitra and Patna Women’s College. Father Robert Athickal, Founder of Tarumitra, inspired the students through an insightful session on biodiversity, encouraging them to explore and recognize various native plant species. Ms. Mishra sensitized the students about environmental challenges and the importance of contributing to sustainable practices.
Around 20 enthusiastic students, led by Ms. Meenakshi Mishra, Coordinator of the Srishti Environment Club and Assistant Professor, Department of Geography, engaged with a rich diversity of trees, plants, and herbs—each showcasing ecological significance.
Ms. Devopriya Datta appreciated the college’s warm engagement and commitment to ecological awareness. The visit was supported by the visionary leadership of Sister M. Rashmi A.C., Principal, Patna Women’s College, who continues to inspire environmental stewardship among students.
