Vibrant Nature Walk 2025

On 5th July 2025, as part of the Van Mahotsav celebrations, the SRISHTI Environment Club, in collaboration with the Department of Geography, Patna Women’s College (Autonomous), organized a vibrant Nature Walk for the students of the Geography Department and Srishti Club members through the green patches of Patna Zoo.
Dr. Awadhesh Kumar, Assistant Professor, Geography, shared valuable insights on biodiversity and environmental conservation. The event was coordinated by Ms. Meenakshi Mishra, Assistant Professor and Srishti Club Coordinator, who highlighted the importance of understanding local flora for climate change mitigation.
In continuation of the celebrations, a Green Pledge Wall was unveiled at the main gate of the College, encouraging students and faculty to share eco-commitments and creative ideas to promote sustainability.
The event was supervised by Dr. Amrita Chowdhury, Head, Dept. of Geography and supported by Principal Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C., the event proved to be a meaningful tribute to nature.
